Ricky, who grew up making daily trips into the bush throughout the Peten - western Belize and Eastern Guatemala - has 12 years of experience as a birding guide, and is a founding member and the In-Country Director for CASA.

His substantial experience as a tour guide for The Lodge at Chaa Creek has made him a familiar face to locals and visitors alike. Ricky’s love affair with the birds and their bush habitat - which has brought him great recognition and respect – has contributed greatly to his current position as CASA’s Belize director and CDCB’s principal tour guide.
